Questions
Relay vs Featurebase: common questions
- How is Relay different from Featurebase?
- They bundle the same things: chat, an inbox, AI answers and a public feedback board. Featurebase is broader, with a changelog, an AI copilot for agents, integrations and an API. Relay is narrower and cheaper to predict: two flat plans, one shared inbox, and AI answers grounded in your help center.
- Is Relay cheaper than Featurebase?
- At list price, for a team of three, yes: $19 a month on Relay Pro against $87 a month for three Featurebase Growth seats billed yearly, plus $0.49 for each AI resolution. Featurebase does have a free single-seat plan, which Relay does not. Prices checked 2026-10-02.
- Does Relay have a changelog like Featurebase?
- No. Relay's feedback board shows each post's status, such as under review, planned, in progress and complete, but it has no separate changelog or announcements feature.
- Does Relay have an API or webhooks?
- Not today. Featurebase's Growth plan includes an API, MCP and webhooks. Relay's widget and feedback board can be embedded with a script tag, but a public REST API and webhooks are not available yet.
- Can I sign up for Relay today?
- Yes. Create an account, name your workspace, pick a plan and pay to switch it on, then paste one script tag into your app. You can also try the live demo first, without signing up.
